Finally, after six months NOA2 approved. Now it's on to NVC and Hong Kong consulate.

update

my case has been sitting at NVC since 3/28 and I requested an embassy change from Cairo to Antananarivo, Madagascar. They completed my embassy request on 4/11 (apparently quite possibly before) I have been waiting since then for my case to be sent out.I was told last week my case would be sent out on friday - called friday and I was told to call on monday, called monday I was told my case was sent to a supervisor and to call for an answer on thursday, called thursday and was told to call back on friday. Today I call and get a woman who puts in another request with a supervisor, but I am not satisfied I call back. I get the rude guy ( i know the rude guy by his voice) he speaks harshly and loudly and never lets u finish a sentence, if u mishear him he gets angry and repeats himself loudly ( this guy clearly needs a vacation) after trying to explain to him my situation he just keeps yelling 10 to 15 business days and wouldnt even let me explain my situation so I ask to be transfered. He transfers me to this really nice guy named Marcos, Marcos looks at my case and listens to my story and tells me "this case shouldnt be here anymore". He then looks for my case and finds out it WAS NEVER SENT TO A SUPERVISOR FOR REVIEW - after they changed the embassy they put it in one of the file rooms for CR1-Spousal visas - so my case was sitting in the wrong file room like it was awaiting more paperwork/fees like the CR1.

I both upset and happy - happy that i was persistent and found my case - but also sad that people have been arguing with me for about 2 weeks now calling me impatient and lying to me about sending my case to a supervisor.

I am just hoping everything is over with now and my case will be sent to the embassy early next week like Marcos said.

Just checked with NVC and the case has left the NVC to embassy. I am not sure how long it will take from NVC to Tashkent. They do send the package with DHL and it should take them about 7 to 8 days.

after 28 days and 2 weeks sitting in the wrong filing room - i called NVC this morning and the operator told me our case is being sent out to Madagascar tonight!!!

i have been speaking with the embassy there so we should have an interview in 2 or 3 weeks.

Just got an email that we were approved it only took 6.75 months. Being together forever is getting closer.

All right! Congrats! now you can track it. do not forget the space in between... EXP should have a space, right after. We are almost there... another week probley to get the invite, hopefully! Can beneficiary do medical while waiting for invite, cause we got the TH number?

UPDATE: yehey! PEPS already forwarded the test result at SLEC yesterday, hope i can have my vaccine by monday... so this May i can sched. my interview..thank u GOD!!!..

Depends on the doctors office. Some doctor offices in my Beneficiary's country of Brazil will schedule with just the NVC # and some want the letter from the embassy stating the interview date, or an email with the interview date.

PEPS result: Apr. 25, 2011

Vaccination: May 2, 2011- medical done :dance:

Eligible letter arrived: Apr. 27, 2011- so i can sched. my interview...
