LOL - I had Tim, too!!! I wonder if it is a matter of calling several different times until reaching operator who is willing to elevate or put in a service request.

I worked in customer service for awhile - doing the whole phone drone thing - years ago and I know we were supposed to do everything to avoid elevating to our manager. But if the person was persistent - ie "I will not hang up until I speak to a supervisor" we put them through eventually.

What a coincidence! Damn it Tim, we want Service Requests! lol!...

This is stressful. A NOA2 would make life so much better right now.

Wow my Congressman was quick. Sent my papers (release, NOA1 copy, Explanation letter etc) to my Congressman and 2 Senators on Tuesday. Just got an email from the Congressmans staff saying they "...needed assistance with a visa application filed on behalf of your fiancée. I have placed a formal inquiry with USCIS, inquiring both about the status of your application and the reason for delay."

I expect they will get the "5 months hasn't passed (which it has in reality)" but hell, the staff was quick about it so I am happy with that.

I did include a print out of this (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=acbLufpLpB7TY6nvJ9G6s) and highlighted the "Posted February 14, 2011", as well as "If the office is processing a particular type of application in less time than our processing goal, you will see the processing times expressed in months (for example, if the office is processing naturalization applications in less than our 5 month goal, the processing time will state “Five Months”)." and the specific row on that sheet that says I-129F, 5 months. Which is why they probably asked for the reason for the delay in the inquiry. Essentially I said in the letter "If they claim its 6 months or more on the phone when you call about the petition and have been saying this for months now, why do they continue to post bogus times on their main site?"

Well, I sent the letter to our Congressman Andy Harris on Sunday with no response as of yet. I literally just faxed the letter to Senator Glassman a few minutes ago. Wish me luck!

Only 7 VJ members approved at the VSC this past week... and only ONE from Thursday and Friday? This is really discouraging. It seems like the CSC is cranking them out at double the rate of the VSC!

I am becoming desperate. This has to be the worst thing I have ever gone through. I really thought March 5th was going to be a spectacular day. My hopes have been crushed. This thread should be full of amazing posts of approvals by now. I am trying to contain myself, but it is becoming increasingly difficult.
