Hello Everyone

Me and the Mrs. have just said (what we hope to be) our final goodbye; as the next time we are reunited we hope to marry and spend the rest of our lives together!

We are now at the stage where I need to send the little slip back to London Embassy stating that I have all the required documents, and am ready for the interview. The medical has already taken place.

If I was to send this back on Monday, does anyone have any real idea of when to expect the interview to be scheduled for (approximately of course)?

And once I have completed the interview (hopefully successfully) are we correct in assuming we then have 90 days for me to enter under the K1 and marry my darling lady?

Thanks in anticipation of your help and patience!

Matt & Laina

It really depends on the consulate. My husband (then fiancé) turned in his P3 in March and it was May before he got an interview, although this was through the Montréal Consulate. You might check with the UK regional forum as they might have an answer for you there. As for having 90 days to marry your beloved...yes, that's correct. Best wishes to you both!!!!!

Well, you can get that information right here on Visa Journey by going into the menu (above) called Immigration Timelines, and then selecting the "Statistics" for K1 Visas. After it brings up the statistics, you can then select the drop down menu for "Visa Timelines", the K1 expanded ones and it will run reports which you can then limit by country or many other items.

I did it for the last 40 people that listed the United Kingdom as their country and posted their "Packet 3 return date" and their "Interview Date". I found that the quickest interview was 25 days, the longest period was 121 days and the average was 53 days.

Best of luck.
