1. G-325A form - what are File Number (A), Alien Registration number and A# number on I-485/I765 forms?

(A) File Number/A#/Alien Registration number are all the same thing. It is for your Alien Registration Number which the US government identifies you by. Most people that have already gone through the K1/K3 visa process have been assigned one of these; likewise, other visas usually have them too. They could be on the I-94 for when you entered.

An A# comes from one of those documents. Not everyone has one; Canadians, for example, do not receive them as tourists when they enter the US. If you do not have an A#, put NONE on your application where they ask for it.

2. I-864 form - do we need a notary to sign?

Yes, you need this to be notarized. Check out your bank; usually they will offer notary services for free.
