Hi Team

Finally, after rough path, my husband is done with interview. interview went good but he did nt have original doc of I864. they gave him bule slip and asked to submit the original along with his passport. so i have mailed to him. he just submitted and given his passport. hopefully, we get his visa in 10days. do you think they might look through again, get any RFE?

Sounds like good news, at this point.

DoS Hotline (# in my profile, left panel) will know current status on the casefile - suggest you call in every day or every 2 days, also ask 'is the casefile in AP or not?'

Why should your husband have the original I864? You submitted it to NVC. NVC should have forwarded it to Embassy.

Are you saying you actually have the original I-864? How's that even possible?

23-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox (USPS EXPRESS)

27-DEC-2016 -:- N400 form delivered/picked up by USCIS

01-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form fee check cashed by USCIS

04-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form received per NOA1

09-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 notice date

14-JAN-2017 -:- N400 form NOA1 on hand through USPS

30-JAN-2017 -:- N400 fingerprint taken

01-FEB-2017 -:- N400 interview schedule process started

26-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview date set (01SEP2017)

29-JUL-2017 -:- N400 interview letter on hand

01-SEP-2017 -:- N400 interview date - Interview passed

10-OCT-2017-:- N400 oath ceremony letter on hand (oath on 26OCT2017)

Are you saying you actually have the original I-864? How's that even possible?

our case (expediate) move to local consulate before even i submit the I864 to NVC, so basically i had the original. consulate confirmed me that copy should be fine but of course not. we find out in the interview that they need the original so i had to fedex it to my husband.
