So glad my first ever post was takken so well. Thank you to those of you who answered, sorry for being unsure where to find info. ::Goes back to pretending like she doesn't exist::

:luv:

No need to be sorry dear ask what you like......trust me you are not the first to ask a question that has been asked a million times or more than once per week. For the most part no one cares how many times a question is asked we are more than happy to answer or point you in the right direction....Ask away not everyone is rude here.....

Geesh! Well at least you got your answer hon. As far as asking questions ask away. Many will answer so don't worry. FWIW I've often found that searching for specific info takes MORE than 5 minutes especially because our wonderful little home here picks up just about every post that has the word(s) you queried. It even searches profiles

Go ahead ask away! :D

That doesn't make any sense at all. I fail to see the irony in the situation, even remotely.

Irony - when you get exactly the opposite result of what you expect. You were not at all helpful to this poor new poster and were, in fact, kinda mean. The post that I took the link was from when you were nice and helpful. Irony.

Welcome BTW Princess, you do exist :) I haven't been around that long so I guess I just remember being new and being so freaked out by this process that you kind of forget common sense things like doing a search.

No hard feelings JLovesA?

C'mon people, the journey is already a pain in the neck, let's try to make it a little bit pleasant.

I sooooo AGREE!!!! which is also the other purpose of this site to help ease the emotional and mental draining of the process. If you feel someone ask a question that has been asked no one forces anyone to answer all you have to do is move on no need to be rude....geesh....

This wont be here long, so read it now. The "Deal with it" person has convinced me that this is not a good place to ask a stupid question. I do not know much about the K! process even though I have read a lot. There are many things on this site that I do not understand. I do not want to worry about asking a stupid question, so I am going to deal with it. There has to be a way to leave the site and I am now going to look for that process. I assume this will disappear when I succeed at removing myself from here.

Thanks for the info I could understand - and even the stuff I could not. Good luck to everyone.

Sorry to hear that as well. Before you do this however just think about the phrase "One rotten apple can spoil the bunch" and don't let one person's attitude make you think the rest of the people here at the VJ site are the same.

Well, this post is certainly full of overreactions.

It really isn't difficult to research a simple question. There are so many posts a day, it should be assumed that the question you'd like to ask has been asked and answered before. There is a search function because of this. While there are no stupid questions, there are the same questions nearly every day sometimes. Going back a page or two doesn't take long.

However, if people aren't interested in answering the question, it's easy to simply provide a link to where the answer is and move on. I don't think anybody was being rude or unhelpful, just trying to guide people into using this forum to its full potential.

A teacher I had in high school used to say that there are no stupid questions, but only stupid answers. I don't know if this is completely true, but I am quite sure that many VJ members ask questions already answered in the past simply because they couldn't find the link or want to be reassured. Some of us are very emotional, some others are (or pretend to be) really cool and badass, but in the end this site is very useful because it's based on other members' experiences.

It doesn't cost much to give an answer, and it costs even less to simply ignore a question that you don't feel like answering. someone else will answer.

I'm inclined to agree with you, sometimes it drives me insane seeing the same 5 questions being posted multiple times a day. I don't understand how people can't figure out what seems so obvious to me. That being said, when someone asks an inane question that I don't feel like answering because I really think that if they just took 10 seconds to search for it they would find it, that's when I ignore them and let someone else come along to answer their question. Becuase (as you can see from this thread specifically) they most certainly will.

Since you and I are such "experts" we can let the other newbies handle the easy questions like "can i visit?" and "who do i make the check out to?" and "what's a touch." Save your time for the more difficult stuff.
