No, not the same day oath... It is scheduled for Jan 18, 2010. at 7:00 am.

But I do get the oath letter right away. I guess there is no enough time for mailing the letter (since the ceremony is less than a week away), so they printed it and gave it to me right away. I'm happy that I don't need to wait and wonder when the oath letter would be delivered and when the oath ceremony would be held... :D :D :D :D

Now I just need to worry about my 2.5 years old daughter -- she wouldn't enjoy the ceremony, so I think I better drop her at my inlaws before taking off to the ceremony with Hubby and the 1 month old daughter.

But, hey... I couldn't believe that I would be able to apply for U.S. passport together with my youngest daughter!!!! YAIY!!!

OMG!!! Congrats! Your interview was the reverse... Civics test first then went over N400. So u had same day oath? How did that go? Woohoo!!!

We do too, time will only tell. . . At least we know that Texas is awake, we got the infamous yellow letter about a month ago, and then silence......

No longer in the hands of the USCIS, for my wife at least, next up MIL.

NYhazmat - you should get it soon. It was a few weeks between us receiving the yellow letter and the interview date. Hope you get it soon.

12/14/2007 - Received 2nd Welcome Letter and Green card!!!

Thanks JA Tam, I guess I was just lucky because we have an Oath Ceremony scheduled next week. Otherwise I will have to wait maybe for weeks if not months for the Oath letter too... Ah, the Oath Ceremony, I will post it here of course :)
