Turns out that I was planning to try a walk-in biometrics at the Okland, CA office but I've just read about someone who was denied not so long ago.

We did a walk-in on the "Removing Conditions" part of our journey. They have several days in which they are not busy and we just went on one of those days. It was not a problem and we did it quite a bit before our scheduled time. Just need to be in the system and have the biometrics letter and you should be fine.

We mailed my wife's application on 10/26. I'm thinking I might move over to the November filers with you since our NOA will most likely be November. Want some company?

RichardShane, so far I've only received my NOA1 and the biometrics appointment letter. Good luck to you!

BonnerBonner, I might give a shot and try to do early biometrics tomorrow. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the tip.

Ok looks like posting is still not working on the timeline, so we might need a moderator to help us out. Otherwise, I wanted to mention we got our biometrics on 10/22 and our status on USCIS changed to 'testing and interview' on 11/9(today). Approximately 2.5 weeks for the change.

Nope no NOA since the biometrics, just the status change on uscis website...just waiting for the interview letter!
