How long does the NVC take to schedule an appointment?

Hi guys,

Just how long does it take the NVC to schedule an appointment for the category "Bringing family members of US Citizens to the USA?" The case was completed at NVC 31 August 2010. Up to now no interview date set. US Citizen father filed for unmarried daughter over 21 years of age.

Can anyone tell me how much longer I will have to wait.

Wait until about october 15/next week to see if you will be given an interview for a date in november.

Hi, I notice your timeline and I was wondering when you recieved the email for NVC case# DS3032 and AOS Bill was it for both your parents or just one? Then you paid each AOS fee for $88? Not just once? The reason I asked bec I only got my mom's NVC Case#, DS3032 and AOS fee Bill haven't got anything yet for my Dad. What should I do? Pay my mom first? Will it affect their medical and interviewed date? I want them to have the same schedule.

NVC assigned my cases the File/case Numbers on July 13, 2010

NVC sent me the Email for DS/230 on July 16, 2010 and I got it in my email on JULY 21, 2010 (8DAYS)

I received 2 emails on the same day (1 for mom, 1 for dad)

I MADE ONE PAYMENT for the AOS fee... and it covered BOTH cases. Thing is if BOTH of your cases are at the NVC at the SAME time then only one fee is required.. So if your mom/dad case are there at anyone time togther then you pay once.

You should have received bother.. I'd call then BUT go ahead and PAY it... you can put them on the same schedule when you send then documents back.. just end it back in one packet..

Hi everyone. I am new. I joined today, and I must say the posts here are really helpful. But here goes. My dad filed for my case fr feb27 06 and I received an approval notice from nvc on nov13,10..I am now waiting on my appointment date. Anyone knows how long ill have to wait before I can hear from nvc or my consulate? Thanks a lot.I'm over 21 ;)
