It averages out differently for various persons depending on the embassy issuance time and where they live in the Philippines. The US Philippine embassy gives you an estimate time frame of processing on the Web Site:

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3024.html#processing

However, it is important to remember this is the actually visa processing time at the embassy, and not the courier delivery time. Once you purchase the Air21 delivery, and you gave them a cell phone number, they will send you a tracking number. Ours came in about 7 business days. She stayed at her aunt’s house in Manila, so maybe it was a little faster.

Thanks! She'll do the CFO seminar on Monday... by the way, which place would you recommend the best place to do the seminar? we still couldn't decide whether to take it at St. Mary's or PRISM? and on one of the requirements is to bring a copy of the visa.. how can she make a copy of it if it's in the envelope which you're not suppose to open?

Personally, I'd go to St. Mary's in Katipunan. Very nice people, and there is a CFO satellite office behind their building. That's where I completed my guidance counseling (K1, K3 and CR1/IR1 all undergo this requirement and receive the blue certificate of attendance), and obtained the CFO sticker and green certificate (it looks like a large check lol). No appointment needed. She just has to go early (they open at 8:00 a.m., I believe). She can do the counseling, and get the sticker after.

The Air21 Package will have a plastic bag inside it, the passports will not be placed inside the brown envelope. She can tear open the plastic bag to retrieve the passport (so she can photocopy the visa, no problem) BUT NOT the brown envelope.

Guidance counseling is about 2 to 3 hours, and is the equivalent of the PDOS. They have the fiancees and wives watch a video first, and after that they are assigned to a person who interviews them. When she is done she will receive a blue certificate of attendance. To get the sticker from the CFO satellite office at the back she has to have the CFO registration form ready. She can download that and fill it up and print it on the day she goes for guidance counseling.

by the way, how long did the seminar take?
