They are not allowed to accept anything valued at more than 5$. and even that could create problems.. I discussed this wth my ILO... I asked if pizza showed up anonymously at lunch what would happen.. "it would get eaten""... any other gifts from an individual would get refused/returned... if they accept something from someone they run the risk of losing thier position...

Shortly after Alla arrived, she accompanied me to work a couple of times to see what I do. One of those times was for a government inspection on one of our jobs...state government. Alla offered the guy a cup of coffee from the pot in the construction office trailer and he REFUSED! Vooooooooooooooooooowhat?

Hey...I am glad we are all having a laugh even if it is at my expense...that was why I said maybe I was a fool.

I dont believe the FBI is going to come knocking on my door...not for that anyway...

All in the name of fun. Hopefully someone will wind up with the flowers somewhere. :bonk:

No kidding. You could have mailed a check to ME. it would have been much more useful (at least to me)

I have friends at VSC and they barely accept a soda from me when the visit me at my house! #######! Try to get them to eat a piece of birthday cake!

Next time, PM me for my address, send any foolishness to me in the form of US dollars. You will wait like everyone else. Get your interview documents ready in the meantime and remodel the bathroom or something

So have your friends or someone get the flowers....it was a beautiful arrangement...sad so sad it will go to waste...If you walk down the street and see a bag lady with a whole bunch

...hopefully at least she will enjoy them.

Yep. I have a few neighbors that adjudicate for the VSC, right on their dining room table. They go and pick up cases, process them and return them. They have access to what they need. I even applied for one of those jobs myself. Pays pretty good and you can work at your own pace (they do have an expected "quota", but you can work on them at 2am if you want...naked. maybe TMI)

Have you been spying on your neighbors again? ;)

As fast as CSC move the flowers will be all dried up and in a crumbled pile before anbody even knows they received them. Then they will sit in a pile on someones desk for 4 months....

 Thanks for the laugh!

I bet when they'd finally get around to looking at the flowers, they'd send an RFE to the flower shop because the little card wasn't fully completed with the flower shop name, address, previous addresses for the last 5 years, and they forgot to sign it.

Cute. Foolish, but cute. Nice to know I'm not the only one being driven insane by this wait.

That is not the half of it....The "fake" touch last weekend send me into overdrive. Im trying to juggle taking my last weeks vacation this year, with wanting to be there for the interview and a fast fading dream of being together by Christmas....I passed insane a couple of weeks ago! :hehe::hehe:
