Is name change a problem for AOS?

Hi, I want to take my husbands name, we have not yet done AOS but I was wondering if I change my name to his if it would affect AOS and if I would have to also change the name on my passport? will USCIS have a problem with this?

I took my husbands name as well and we have not had any problems. He received his EAD without any fuss and we are currently waiting on our AOS, but we have not received any RFE's... thank goodness. I immediately changed my name on my S.S. card and drivers license, but I have not changed my name on my passport, although we don't plan on traveling for awhile.. not sure how that will work out. Maybe I should check into that. :whistle: Congrats on your marriage, and we wish you a happy and long life together.(L)
