April 2010 filer - IR1/CR1

Hello All,

I haven't received my NOA2 yet, still waiting..... there was no notification received to the email i registered to receive notifications.

Is there some way, we can know when we would receive the NOA2 that I filed on April 25,2010 or can I know any process that can speed up things or should i wait for some more time. Any suggestions?

I was planning on staying with my husband (out of country) for atleast 6 months, but not sure if it is feasible to do it, with me currently working here and concerned if there will be any issue in the future at the time of interview for my husband. Any advices are helpful.

Appreciate any responses.

Tanvee, I would suggest you call USCIS and get the status, You might want to talk to Tier 2. I have yet to do it.. There is no way that i know of to speed things up..for now waiting is the game.. :-) Also i would recommend you write to your representative. Here is a link "Thanks to Loto"

I was thinking of taking a break for few months(approx. 3months) to go to India, but as I am working currently, I may have to leave my job. Will that cause a problem in the visa process?

Just spoke to USCIS Agent and i have been told to call back in 10 days..LOL! :bonk: According to the Agent they are currently processing March 29 2010 application.

What you all need to do is figure out who represents you in US Senate. Then call his office and ask for help with immigration. They'll transfer you to a person who will take up your signature for privacy reason and call USCIS on your behalf. That is supposed to help the process. If you've already waited more than 150 days, then you need to go ahead and do just that.

On Oct. 5th, I called and was told they were processing March 29th and had to wait an extra 35 days. Two days later I realized that I was touched. Well on the evening of tje 7th, I received the text that it was approved. So the short is that expect it any day now. I was around the same time of 166 days. Good luck.
