Hi !

I mailed responce to our AOS RFE couple days ago and checked that they already received the requested documents. Today I checked my status online on USCIS website and I see our case is transferred from Acceptance stage to Initial Review. I am wondering when approximately I will receive my work permit as I was referred to several positions at a company here and I am contacted by recruiter for interview. Visajourney timeline prediction is between October 20th and October 28th. Do you think it is still possible given that I had an RFE ?

Also, my case had the information below: Do you know what it means? I

Generally, without RFE, the EAD is received at around 90 days from the date of receipt. Did you have biometrics appointment yet?

You filed for AP, yes? Did you get a receipt notice?

I arrived as a K 1, got married and filed AOS application on 24th of August 2010. I received NOA on 2nd September. RFE was mailed to me on 22nd of September and I responded on 29th. Today, which is October 5th, I had my biometrics appointment.

Thank you for the information.

Best,

Bimik

Check out our timeline and the difference in time between biometrics and receipt of the EAD. The biometrics info in on the EAD card. I'd say that timing difference is what you should expect.
