I called for a update, just to see what they would say, the day AFTER my fiance got the NOA2 approval text and email. They told me that there was no update from the last time I'd called. LOL Then I called the day AFTER he got called by the Algerian embassy regarding Packet 3 and was told that his case was still in transit to Algeria but was not yet received there. They don't know anything.

i mean i know it wont come suddenly, but i thought they would update something at least

anyways thanks :)

No. Most cases have no "updates" and updates are in now way to be considered always a "good thing". We never had an update, and in fact the onlie system still lists us as "initial review" We just filed for Alla's removal of conditions, she has been here more than 2 years.

It takes long because there are a lot of people in front of you. Processing a clean (complete and no problems) petition takes less than 20 minutes and the only "update" you should EXPECT is an approval notice.
