Question about Petitioner Name on NOA1 notice

VJ members,

I received my NOA1 for I-751 that my spouse and I filed jointly on 09/28/2010. However, there are some "errors" on the NOA1. Petioner (ie. my spouse, who is Greencard holder) name is not exactly written how we wrote in the application. And formatting on the name is awful; it has 20 spaces between each part of the name as shown below.....

USCIS wrote on NOA1: Petitioner: LASTNAME , FIRSTNAME MIDDLE_INITIAL.

However, when we applied, we wrote my spouse's name as: LASTNAME FIRSTNAME ENTIRE_MIDDLE_NAME

Another issue is that on the address portion (which shows up in the envelope's window), USCIS has written only: FIRSTNAME_INITIAL LASTNAME (i.e. J. SMITH)

I know these are minor things... But, I want to make sure at least USCIS is "consistent" in making these errors.... That's why I want to ask VJ member here if they have seen similar errors on their NOA1.

Should I be correcting these by calling USCIS?

This is the normal formatting... I think my NOA came exactly with the formatting you are talking about. What is most important is how the GC shows your name.

It shows LASTNAME , FIRSTNAME MIDDLE_INITIAL. on the green card as well. I am assuming they don't write full middle names on the green card itself....Hopefully, other members can chime in educate us....

That's actually how my GC looks like as well.

You can check the USCIS's website GC design - it also shows in that format, even the new one.

Copying the new sample green card image from USCIS for all VJ members to see...New cards will be issued May 11, 2010 onwards.....
