NVC added spouse name + address incorrectly

OK so some Dumb A** at NVC added my wife's first name and last name combined as Last name. So now First name now says FNU (First name unknown) and last name shows her first name and last name.

When I called the rep this morning she said it ok and leave it as is since her whole name is there. Also they combined my wife's home address line 1 and line 2 into same line.

Should I send a request to update this info? If yes then it is going to cause further delays at NVC?

IMO, you should correct at least name part. Address would be ok.

Get it fixed. So what if it creates delay of another week or even another month. Wouldn't you rather have things done correctly and your wife's name properly written then being with her for few more days sooner?

Why do you think that addresss should be OK? Don't they mail all the Original documents to beneficinary after the case is closed at NVC or would they be mailed to me since i'm the Choice of Agent?

If I'm not wrong i know they Don't mail your Original documents to the address beneficiary need to collect them at the consulate after interview...

Originals will be returned to the beneficiary "by hand" after the Conulate interview. When you fill it up the VFS document for passport with visa delivery, fill properly. Also, fill the address properly in the DS-230 too.

Thanks Loto. What I heard was that when you go for your Interview at the embassy you need to take the originals. So I thought that maybe NVC mails them to beneficiary.

Normally, CO will hand over all original documents immediately after the interview. Sometimes, they forget^TM it. If that's the case, ask them to return the originals before leaving the interview counter.
