Follow up to my previous post:

My fiancee was in the US working on a J1 visa as an Au Pair. She quit that job in May. She then came back on the visa in August to see me even though she wasn't working anymore.

Question B12 states "He or she last arrived as a:(visitor, student, exchange alien, crewman, stowaway, temporary worker, without inspection, etc.)

I was going to put "Au Pair" but that's not technically true since she was no longer working. Any thoughts on how I should complete this?

Also, there is no "Date authorized stay expired, or will expire as shown on I-94 or I-95" on her I-94. Do I just put the date her visa expires?

Hmmm, that doesn't seem quite right that she can use the J-1 to come back in even though she's not working. I thought those were invalid if the job was terminated?

I don't know how to answer that one, you could just put J-1 visa, and its expiry date? Also, you may want to make sure she's not subject to the 2 year rule for J-1 visa holders.
