For the IR-1/CR-1 fees, the Affidivit of Support is no longer $70, but now $88. And the Immigrant Visa Application fee is no longer $400, but $404. I believe these changed in July this year.

Also, as of November 23rd, 2010, the I-130 (initial petition) is going to go up to $420 and the I-751 (to remove conditions) is going up to $590.

And then there's the optional N-400 (application to be a US citizen) which will cost $680 as of November 23.

Well.....that's all a good start but really isn't everything.....

Plane tickets

New clothes

Schooling

English classes

New Car

Remodel the house

New Landscaping

Vacations

Trips back to visit the old country

Lots more costs.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Not all of those costs apply to everyone though. For me the only thing that applies in your list would be plane tickets my husband pays to come visit me in Montreal. But yes, I do understand that besides the cost of forms, there are many other costs to consider.

If i remember correctly, we paid £200 each for the Medical.

As for the Vaccinations, we got them all via our Gps Nurse on the NHS free of charge.

My advice is to check with your Doctor/Nurse first prior to Londons Medical and see if you are entitled to some, if not all of the vacs that you need. If you do have to pay, you may even find you will get them via this route alot cheaper than what Londons Visa Doctor charges.

As example, i needed a Tetanus shot. London Visa Drs quoted me £30. I checked with my Gp, who offered it to me for £7. But when it came to the day i was not charged at all by my Gp for it
