Help Downloading Forms

Hey guys,

I am trying to download forms I-131 and G-1145 (for AOS) however VJ and USCIS both state I do not have the right version of Adobe Reader (had no problems with the other forms though). I've tried updating it but either our type of MAC isn't listed or it won't load the page (I've waited 30mins now and have high speed internet).

Does anyone have copies of these they can send me?

*many more delays thanks to the agency processing my fingers prints to the RCMP and the post office losing our mail*

05/20/2015 Packet sent to NVC via UPS, eta May 28.

06/16/2015 Baby #2 due - homebirth in Scottsdale, AZ

Of course it is haha. We have a MAC OS X 10.6.4 and it's not even listed as a software option on their site. tried going through the Apply site too. Even the USCIS isn't loading the page anymore.

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

It's doing the same thing! I can read the instructions but not the forms. It's so weird.

Guess I'll try again tomorrow. Maybe technology is just upset with me at the moment and needs to sleep on it haha.

Two alternate suggestions:
  • go to your nearest public library and use the computers/internet there--and print out the forms ($0.10-0.20/page)
  • go to a FedEx-Office (erstwhile Kinko's) location and use a machine there (lots pricier than the public library, but will work--and lots less $$ anyway than you're going to fork-out to USCIS)

Search for "PDF viewer mac" on Google and download something other than Adobe.

Edit: once you've done that, save the PDF to your desktop or somewhere, and select to open it in the new program. Hopefully it'll work.

I could be cheeky and say your problem is you have a MAC - but that would just start an argument :devil:

Have you googled for a solution - sounds like it's not a unique problem - what version of ADOBE do you have

We've had MAC's for years and never ran into a problem with Acrobat Reader, so I don't know whats up... or why it's just the two forms. The Acrobat Reader website isn't listing our version of MAC yet either for the newest version. HM. Maybe I'll try updating my computer and if that doesn't work get it through a 3rd party source but I hate doing that.

So I checked my computer and my version of Acrobat and everything was fine... no reason for it to say I don't have the right version. So I open the file again and just click the hell out of some symbols at the bottom of it and POOF it opens it in a PDF format I have never seen before. I don't care how or why it worked, but I have my forms printed :)
