We sent our Packet 3 two weeks ago, and I've been calling DOS and it still hasn't been logged. We know it was received thanks to our Royal Mail confirmation, but do you guys think this is normal? Trying not to get ahead of myself by expecting an interview date soon but still a little concerned it hasn't been logged yet.

Usually it's 1-4 weeks. Mine dragged on and I left the whining I did about it in my timeline. I hope they log it and schedule interviews for you soon! It sounds like Christmas and New Years might be possible for you two. YAY!!!!!!!!

Our VisaJourney started July 2009 when I mailed the 129-F

Fiance here February 2010, married 10 days later

GC received in the mail 10-Jun-2010

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeah, I really hope we're able to get married before Christmas, or at least before 2011. After all this waiting, this bit seems the hardest, probably since we're so close!

Ours took 2 1/2 weeks, and I was freaking out too. Some people on here lately have said they've had 3 1/2 weeks between receipt and logging in. But they scheduled our interview date about 2 to 3 days after they logged it in. It goes very quickly from here. And trust me... the last 3 days before POE will seem the LONGEST. He arrives tomorrow and I've been on pins and needles since Sunday!

Good luck!

Is Rob going through Chicago? What time is he getting there? Peter is leaving out of London on American Airlines at 10:15 tomorrow, and getting into Chicago around 12:55 EST. It'd be funny if they were processing there together before going onto OKC and LR.

Make sure you call DOS and ask about the packet being logged and if there is an interview date yet. I just read somewhere that another UK couple had their P3 papers delivered (they had proof of this) and 4.5 weeks later they still had not been logged. By then they called the extortion line and were able to email over the required forms because the embassy agreed that they must have been lost.

Are other people on VJ having their packets logged at the London embassy? This Friday is 4 weeks for you. Sometimes it really does take that long.

If you're incredibly unhappy maybe on Monday you could pay the extortion line price to talk to someone and possibly have them give you an email code. GOOD LUCK!!!
