The instructions say that if you need more space to complete an answer, use a separate sheet of paper and to write your name and Alien Registration Number A-#, if any.

My question is: whose name and number? The person who is completing the affidavit (sponsor) or the beneficiary?

It is confusing to me because I am the USC and have never had an A# so I wouldn't put one, but the fact that the sponsor and/or co-sponsor has to be a USC and would never have an A# makes me wonder if they are really asking for the beneficiary's name and A# on the continuation sheet.

Whoever is filling out the form, you would put that name on any extra sheets/evidence.

So they know they all go together.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

The A# is on your beneficiary's NOA2; it will be used frequently in her remaining paperwork.

If you don't want to use extra sheets, you can leave the spaces blank and then just handwrite the information.

hmm.. conflicting answers...

Does anyone see a problem with this format:

Sponsor's Name FBO Beneficiary's name, Beneficiary's A#

I really have no choice but to use a separate sheet as it is for a list of stocks, bonds and other assets and can't be written in the space provided.

Looks good to me. For all your extra sheets, put that at the top. :)

You want to be sure that the beneficiary's name and A# are on the extra sheet in case the pages get separated. Having the form name and number and question number will also help.

I'm going to put my name, her name, her A#, Form # and question number in the header. So much that it could almost stand alone!

Better to include too much information than too little, I'm now thinking.. Thanks everyone!
