Hi All,

I am applying for a new EAD (work permit) through the green card. I am scheduled to do the biometrics later this month but I still didn't receive my new EAD. I have been working with my EAD through OPT but it will expire in the next days. Am I allowed to keep working after my EAD expires even if I didn't receive my new EAD?

I appreciate any information about this.

You can only work if you have a valid EAD or green card in your possession.

If you need to, you would have to make an INFOPASS to get an expedite.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
