Maybe CR-1 instead of K-1?

Hi, I have been hanging around this forum for a while, posting in the K-1 section. I am a citizen of the US and my fiancee is Brazilian. She has been coming to the US for 2 years now on her tourist visa. We have actually spent the better part of that 2 years together, and have decided we want to get married. I was just getting ready to file for the K-1, but now am thinking maybe it is better to do the CR-1. She is coming back in November for a couple of months and we are thinking about getting married then and filing for the CR-1 before she returns to Brazil. I noticed that the CR-1 is less expensive and seems to be a little less work, although it is all a little confusing to me still and I am not sure. Does anyone have any advice as to why the CR-1 might be a better option? Thanks.
