Hey VJ peeps!

Aiko sent in her DS230 on Sept. 22nd. It is now Oct. 4(almost 2 weeks) since she mailed it in and we have not heard anything from the US Embassy in Tokyo about them receiving it. From info that I have seen, it appears that the Embassy usually emails you within a few days after the mailing time...should I be concerned?

You may want to ask this in your regional forum as they'll have a better idea how Tokyo consulate does things.

hi Tod, i am Kumi.

i am also a July filer. i don’t have the answer for your question but here is a tip! hope it is helpful for you guys!

Japanese K-1 filers tend to use mixi (SNS). tell Aiko-chan to sign up for a mixi account (if she is Japanese, she must have one though!) and join a community called “ダーリンはアメリカ人 -書類編-”. if she asks the question in the community, i am sure people will give you guys specific information.

good luck!
