This is what happens when Republicans control our lives. They jump right into bed and make sure we are "doing it" according to scripture or whatever floats THEIR boat. In case you wonder why I , a VERY heterosexual guy, is so supportive of the privacy rights of Gays and Lesbians...this is it.

Next they will ban sex toys, make a law that says you must face your partner when having sex, she must be within 2 years of your age, must be similar height weight and ...oh yeah COLOR, must be the same COLOR as you. We had those laws before when the Dems worried about such things. (before the blacks were voting for them) They will ban ####### sex, oral sex, role playing, Victorias Secret ads...ban Victorias Secret...

The only thing worse than a TV in the bedroom is a politician in the bedroom. STAY THE #### OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Alabama still has a ban on sex toys. Do any states still have laws saying what form of sex is legal?

To be fair some states still have very old laws which are still active but are never enforced.

In Texas it is illegal to milk another person's cow. I think we all know what that means.

False.

You cannot be specifically cited or arrested for driving barefoot. You could be charged with reckless driving if you were an arsehole to the cop and he wanted to make your day as difficult as possible, but that would easily be disputed in court.

Can you name any industry in which US government has been involved and done better than private institutions of that industry?

United States Postal Service.

No private company can beat them on price.

You can, however, milk another man's wife in Texas. It's called a loner.

in texas, we call that a good way to get lead poisoning.

what does that have to do with a politician having some say in what an adult woman does in her bedroom?

Here we go with this again.

While the story as reported here seems odd, .. and just to argue a point I would remind you that this is not just some random woman we are talking about here, we are talking about a Government employee.

There are certain limitations one places one ones self when you take on certain job positions. When a person is a teacher or other key position in a school system your life both in school and away from school can not call into question your moral fitness... what exactly that means depends on the district you work for.

I know you don't like it but.... thats the way it works.

In fact, some school districts require that teachers not even smoke..... even in their own bedrooms.

It always amazes me that these kind of people are usually the first ones to start jumping up and down about "government intrusions" like seat belt or helmet laws. "Teh gub'mint ain't gonna tell me what to do!"

Those are just a few of many examples and the first that popped into my head. You want the government out of your life, but in people's bedrooms it's ok? Riiiiiight.

Not sure the logic of comparing grounds of employment for a school teacher, to people being free to manage their own safety.

Are we talking about the principle here...... or the degree to which this school has taken it?

I mean do you believe a teacher should be free to moonlight as a pornstar or stripper?
