Hi

I'm just received my police record checks today, and filling out the DS-230 Part I form from the package 3.

I downloaded a fillable DS-230 form to fill out on my computer, and was wondering if I could submit this. The only thing is I cannot print the form out double-sided like the one came with the package. So I printed 2 pages.

it's just much neater to fill out on the computer than by hand.

Would General Console in Guangzhou accept it? Or I must submit the form from the package?

Please be advise.

Thanks

A few things:

1. Check and double check the form number and date. If it's the same exact form as the one in your packet, I can't imagine why it would matter that it was on two pages instead of one back/front. However, I'm not familiar with how difficult your consulate is so perhaps I'm not the best person to be giving you advice, which leads me to..

2. Try reposting this in your regional forum, to get consulate specific answers. Hopefully someone there has had the same question or experience as you and will be able to answer you better.

3. Why can't you print it out on one page back/front? Just print out the first side, put the same piece of paper back into the printer but flipped over and then print the second side on the back. If you're concerned about getting it right, test it out with something else until you're sure you know which way to put the paper in. Printers are confusing and I've made that mistake before

Hope that helps, best of luck! :star:

You can use the forms that you downloaded, as long as they are the current forms from the GUZ website. The most important thing is that the information is complete and clearly printed/written on the forms. Good luck!
