Cover Letter for the I-751

Hi everyone

We are getting ready to file the I-751 petition and have one quick question:

Who is the petitioner? Like for I-130 it is the U.S. Citizen spouse who files the petition. It our case it will be a jointly filed petition as we'll be removing conditions on my CR-1 visa. So for the cover letter, who should address it? My husband who is the U.S. Citizen or myself Or both of us and we sign the cover letter together too?

The applicant for the I-751 is you the immigrant. As you are filing jointly you could both be considered petitioners. Doesn't really matter who signs the cover letter, I'd say definitely you and if your husband signs it as well that would be good too.
