I130 Section D Question two

I petitioned a K-1 for my fiance(now husband) in March this year. The petition was approved and sent to London Embassy. We got married instead and cancelled the K-1. I'm now filing the I-130 but I am not sure how to answer this: Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien?

Should I mark yes since I have petitioned for him before or this only apply to I-130.

How can I find out if the case is closed at the USCIS and the embassy?

I would put yes because thats what i did. But my case was diffrent because I filed I-129 and it got denied and when i filled the I-130 i put yes i filed for this person and it got approved. Now why my case got denied is because no physical meeting in the last 2 years. Its never a good thing to lie to a goverment agency.
