Hi,

I read that K-1 fiancees need to through some secondary processing when they

go through immigration at the port of entry in the US.

Besides the sealed envelope, what other documentation should the fiancee have

available at this time ? What questions do they ask during this process ?

Any experiences ?

Thanks

I went through JFK.. had only the brown envelope with me and give to the immigration.. I asked for the temp EAD so I was sent to another room where i wait for 30 mins and got my work authorization stamp on my I-94.. no second interview or anything.. they asked me just normal questin like why are you here (they asked this also while i was here from J-1 as an aupair) i just said "here to marry my fiance" that was it.

I entered as a K-3 visa but I am sure that the procedure is the same. It is not an interview that you go through they maybe ask a few simple questions but it is painless.
