Got our biometrics appointment letter today! :dance:

That's great! I hope mine comes in a few days too so I can give Laura plenty of time to book the day off work to be on child-care duty while I drive down to Colorado for my biometrics.

I'm happy to report I've just checked the USCIS tonight site and got this message: On February 3, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I don't think there is a difference... Vermont is just terribly slow. I'm sure all of the winter storms didn't help matters either. It was the same way when we went through the CR1 process 2 years ago

Our check was cashed on Friday. I have a WAC # on the check, but I'm unable to register it on USCIS. Or perhaps it is too early as usual to register.

I assume to just wait for the NOA1 to get the WAC #. Its not written very clearly when I view it on my online banking.

Hi - We're back!

I am just finishing off my application. Just wanted to run my list up the flag pole. Any suggestions/criticisms would be appreciated. I will send the package either later today or probably tomorrow once I'm completely satisfied I've done everything correctly.

• Copies of the passports

• Copy of Permanent Residence card

• Copies of our leases of our home

• Financial Records showing joint checking and savings accounts (including a letter from our bank, statements, a void check with both our names and copies of our bank cards.)

• Joint tax return transcripts from 2009 and 2008

• Copies of our social security cards and drivers licenses (showing same address)

• Copies of recent Auto Owners Insurance documents

• Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership

• Copies of T-Mobile phone statements, highlighting phone transactions

• Copies of our gas bills and a letter from the gas company showing joint names on the service

• Copies of our water bills and a letter from the water company showing joint names on the service

• Copies of our cable bill in my name only

• Copies of documents from the YMCA showing a joint membership

• Originals of 2 notarized affidavits from friends known to both of us since my conditional status was granted, and who have personal knowledge of our relationship and marriage

Hi! You have tons of stuff. You don't need to send copies of the passports, so if you decide to do that, just stick it at the end. So - I don't have any expertise in this, and I know some people do send actual photographs, but I was thinking that logistically, these are going to be hard to keep with the file. The pages we submit gets holes punched in the top and attached in a folder (I had heard this, but I also got to see our CR-1 folder at our interview). I'm just thinking that a bunch of 4x6 photos might get tossed if they don't fit in the filing system... I printed our electronic photo .jpegs on paper, which had captions describing each one. You could probably attach your photos to paper, like 2/page and write the info on the front? Or photocopy those pages to send? For my I-130 package, I sent photocopies of all the photos. Just a thought, to help ensure they remain included in your package.

April 11 - Sent IV package and AOS package TOGETHER. Confirmed delivery April 15.

April 26 - Case Complete (10th working day)

May 14 - Interview date assigned (12th working day)

June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)

Hi! You have tons of stuff. You don't need to send copies of the passports, so if you decide to do that, just stick it at the end. So - I don't have any expertise in this, and I know some people do send actual photographs, but I was thinking that logistically, these are going to be hard to keep with the file. The pages we submit gets holes punched in the top and attached in a folder (I had heard this, but I also got to see our CR-1 folder at our interview). I'm just thinking that a bunch of 4x6 photos might get tossed if they don't fit in the filing system... I printed our electronic photo .jpegs on paper, which had captions describing each one. I guess the only reason i decided to put the passport copies in there is to prove my wife has taken my last name - I guess it cant hurt to put it in there.

I am just finishing off my application. Just wanted to run my list up the flag pole. Any suggestions/criticisms would be appreciated. I will send the package either later today or probably tomorrow once I'm completely satisfied I've done everything correctly.

• Copies of the passports

• Copy of Permanent Residence card

• Copies of our leases of our home

• Financial Records showing joint checking and savings accounts (including a letter from our bank, statements, a void check with both our names and copies of our bank cards.)

• Joint tax return transcripts from 2009 and 2008

• Copies of our social security cards and drivers licenses (showing same address)

• Copies of recent Auto Owners Insurance documents

• Copy of the title of our car, showing joint ownership

• Copies of T-Mobile phone statements, highlighting phone transactions

• Copies of our gas bills and a letter from the gas company showing joint names on the service

• Copies of our water bills and a letter from the water company showing joint names on the service

• Copies of our cable bill in my name only

• Copies of documents from the YMCA showing a joint membership

• Originals of 2 notarized affidavits from friends known to both of us since my conditional status was granted, and who have personal knowledge of our relationship and marriage

• Details of a magazine subscription given as a Christmas gift

• Copy of a document from a website provider showing a professional website purchased in wife's married name

• Copy of a receipt for dinner (our 3rd anniversary)

• Copy of an invitation to a party held by us

• Various photos taken over the last 2 years, with details written on reverse

Hmmmm, your evidence is just borderline, especially if you are missing receipts from your 1st and 2nd anniversary dinners. But with a little luck you should be ok.
