i got my approval email on friday as i posted, today i got the formal letter saying my case was approved, now heres the best thing, in another envelope i got my greencard !!!!!!!.............

I'm happy to report I've just checked the USCIS tonight site and got this message: On February 3, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I don't think there is a difference... Vermont is just terribly slow. I'm sure all of the winter storms didn't help matters either. It was the same way when we went through the CR1 process 2 years ago

I heard that the interview is not bad at all, bring some documents just incase, basically they want to see if your spouse will show up with you and then they will go over your information and so on and so on, they will ask you how are things going and things like that, dont be nervous and just carry a convo with the immigration officer as if he / she was just a new friend askign you questions.. dont worry things will go your way, relax

Hi, I have heard from a couple who has been on an interview and they said it was not

so bad. Just have your evidence ready and if you can get more quality than quantity evidence that is even better and

make sure you and spouse has the facts right. I did not have alot of stuff but I sent like bank statements,

credit cards, life insurances, car title, tax returns, health insurance, PSE@G bills AT&T family plan, lease all

from beginning of marriage until when I submitted documents. I got approve without interview. Good luck

Congrats to everyone approved, and good luck for the interview, StoneLove - I'm sure it will be fine!

My GC came in the mail today, yay! We got an RFE at the end of Feb and sent back more joint bank account details and credit card details (already submitted, but this time we sent statements for the entire 2 years!), 5 affidavits, photos and screenshots of photos on Facebook, a joint car purchase agreement and financing (made after we sent the original packet) and evidence that I was J's next-of-kin and emergency contact for the VA when he was scheduled for surgery. We were worried that because we don't have a lot of money, we don't have more evidence like life insurance, savings, vacations together etc, so we sent a cover letter explaining this. We are sooooooo happy the card just turned up today! It took around a month from replying to the RFE.

i am from NC i applied to remove my GC condetion in Vermont back in October 7 and i received NOA 1 year extention in October 21 i did BIO was in Dec 16 then nothing!!!!!

i got an infopass in April 25 after a whole 6 month passes have been told that my case with an officer ?? and just wait ??

i was planing to travel summer vacation to my family (whole summer)early in june, now i dont know what to do

any Advice !! anyone with simellar case and why it takes that long ?? is it NC timeline or what do you guys see

its about 7 month now please help

i live in Cary NC, i came with a CR1 visa(husband USC) .. applied October 7 received it October 14 Bio Dec 16 then zzzzzzzzzzzzz

what about you ?

hey i think you can also go to your congressman or senetor to ask about your status. these people can not just sit on your file like that after 6 months . i know for a fact that when a congressman or a senetors ask about your case they respond and work on your case.
