June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)

I'm happy to report I've just checked the USCIS tonight site and got this message: On February 3, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I don't think there is a difference... Vermont is just terribly slow. I'm sure all of the winter storms didn't help matters either. It was the same way when we went through the CR1 process 2 years ago

Well, my bank account has gotten smaller... I was surprised to see this so soon. I-751 package arrived Oct 7, check chased and cleared Oct 8. They do NOT waste any time taking our money :lol:

Anyway, it's good to know we are "in the system." We filed late in our 90-day window, so any problem might have meant some stress over whether our application would be in before the deadline.

Hi, all. We will be filing in another 10 days or so. As someone else said, it does feel weird to be back on here after a long absense.

Quick question for those who have already filed (or have your package ready to go): How THICK was the packet you sent, as in how many pages? I am really trying to have enough of each type of evidence we have to cover the whole period of our marriage and so far it seems like it will end up being a really thick pile.

We just mailed the I-751 today!! I also added my name " capella_baby" under vermont center. I'm new here so i'm not sure if i did it right. Can somebody help me or correct it for me if i did it wrong?? I'd appreciate it!

Anyway, it's good to know we are "in the system." We filed late in our 90-day window, so any problem might have meant some stress over whether our application would be in before the deadline.

Our check, (I still want to write "cheque" as I'm from England!) was cashed today also. No doubt our NOA1's will be on the way soon then and our residency will be extended a year while the ten year petition is processed.

03-22-18 I found out about missed appointment and contacted USCIS to reschedule.
