Question, do I put the date I received the Biometrics letter (11/19/10), or the date the Biometrics was scheduled for (12/03/10)? I hope I did this correctly- FireFox isn't showing me a Rich Text option. I put myself in chronological order instead of putting myself at the bottom. Feel free to repost my info if I did it wrong. :blush:

30/05/2007: Package 4 received from Montreal

05/07/2007: Interview date - Canceled by request, [promised a Dec date b/c was 6+mo in advance, note on file

Screwed up my interview date, given NOVEMBER, fixed, promised Dec or Jan

06/02/2008: Interview date, medical now expired! APPROVED!

23/01/2008: New Medical done, WHERE THE @#$%! IS IT, DID THE MAILMAN LOSE IT?! (It arrived 30 min after I left for MTL, 1 week overdue. KISS MY LEFT FOOT, AFTER IT'S BEEN WEDGED UP YOUR HINEY AND LOST IT'S STILETTO, CANADA POST!)

14/02/2008: VISA IN HAND!!

18/05/2008: POE - Harassed by ignorant and incompetent Customs Official who grilled me until I answered that the reason why I broke up w/ my Ex was not to date my USC but b/c he was "impotent from a porn addiction". He also insulted my husband's motives for talking to me, dismissed our 2 years together as "not enough to get married", and otherwise trotted out the Spanish Inquisition.

22/05/2008: Ceremony of cohabitation (Legally allowed to get bizz-ay!)

14/07/2008: Received NOA1

09/09/2008: Transferred to CSC

29/09/2008: EAD arrives in mail w/out notice, AP following week

18/11/2008: Email notice letter has gone out, card ETA: 60 days

25/11/2008: GC arrives in mail! TWO YEARS OF RED-TAPE FREEDOM! WOOT!

I'm happy to report I've just checked the USCIS tonight site and got this message: On February 3, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

I don't think there is a difference... Vermont is just terribly slow. I'm sure all of the winter storms didn't help matters either. It was the same way when we went through the CR1 process 2 years ago

Woow, RFE already.

It's probably because paperwork had inconsistent address information as we were in the process of moving.

oof, sorry to hear that, but if that is the case, we might receive one as well. We had 3 different addresses going on. I didn't even include copies of our driver's licenses since they are still from another state than where we live now. The same state as each other though, but I thought it would confuse them. I did explain our adresses in the cover letter but who knows if they even read that.

NATURALIZATION - 2012
APPROVED 79 days.
May 9 - Oath ceremony - in Oakland, CA.

Feb 26 - Got NVC Case # and Invoice ID #

March 19 - Sent e-mail Choice of Agent, without scan of DS-3032. Paid AOS fee ($88).
April 1 - Choice of Agent information accepted (10th "working day" to accept).
April 3 - IV invoice appeared. Paid IV fee ($230).
April 11 - Sent IV package and AOS package TOGETHER. Confirmed delivery April 15.

April 26 - Case Complete (10th working day)

May 14 - Interview date assigned (12th working day)

June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)

Is it true we can do walk-in Bios before the scheduled date? And do we send those off to USCIS or does the office that does them send it off for us?

Did Bio on Friday. There were alot of people, but it moved quickly. I think it took about 15 mins.

10/10/07 - I-129F sent to VSC

04/30/08 - POE Newark

07/06/08 - Wedding..... I'm Married Yall!!!

I130 for Minor Child

7/26/12 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

7/30/12 - Priority date

3/15/13 - NOA2!!!!!!!

3/25/13 - NVC received my case

4/08/13 - Emailed ds3032 template

4/09/13 - NVC case number and IIN number generated

4/11/13 - aos fee bill invoiced/paid/and pkg sent

4/12/13 - aos fee paid again after being rejected/ds3032 resent and accepted

4/15/13 - aos pkg delivered/iv bill invoiced and paid

4/16/13 - iv pkg sent express mail/ aos status changed to paid

4/17/13 - iv pkg delivered/ iv status changed to paid.

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

6/05/13 - INTERVIEW

Completed Bio In Phila. at 8AM yesterday.

There were about 20 people. We were out in 15 minutes.

Hopefully all of us October filers will have our Bio's and approvals quickly.

ManuFred - what did your RFE letter say?? I saw on the other thread about the strange NOAs that you had received it.

So - like ManuFred, we received a strange notice saying we were approved (yay?) but that we needed a biometrics appointment (huh? we just did that on Monday...). Anyway, that's not sorted out yet and clearly the letters are a mistake. But it made me check my status, which said that on November 23 they mailed a notice requesting more information or evidence. Boooooooooooooo! And just a day after our biometrics, where we were speculating why the fingerprinting folks don't have some say in judging the validity of our marriage... We chatted with the officers and joked about what color my husband's hair is now (he's going gray), and what his current weight is, etc. and I filled out the form since his handwriting is a crazy blend of roman and cyrillic letters... anyway, he said he wished they had some box they could check when they sent the info, like "seemed legit" or something. haha

That's all I know for now. I'll update when we receive the RFE letter. If I had to bet, it's because we hadn't filed 2009 taxes yet, but I sent the joint extension form. Otherwise I don't have a clue. Everything else was spot-on and I spent an insane amount of time prepping for this submission. Oh well, it didn't seem to pay off. Bummer.

Woow, RFE already.

It's probably because paperwork had inconsistent address information as we were in the process of moving.

May 9 - Oath ceremony - in Oakland, CA.

March 19 - Sent e-mail Choice of Agent, without scan of DS-3032. Paid AOS fee ($88).
April 1 - Choice of Agent information accepted (10th "working day" to accept).
April 3 - IV invoice appeared. Paid IV fee ($230).
April 11 - Sent IV package and AOS package TOGETHER. Confirmed delivery April 15.

April 26 - Case Complete (10th working day)

May 14 - Interview date assigned (12th working day)

June 5 - Interview in Sofia - VISA GRANTED!!!

June 16 - POE @ SFO. No problems. He's a citizen now!

Oct 4 - US Passport received. (SS card received some time in the summer; had to go to SSA office to obtain)
