Sign in Failed and what it means at NVC stage

Hey guys,

Just wondering what people mean when they say they got sign in failed. Is there a particular site you go to try to sign in and it fails or is it on the NVC AVR that one would hear sign in failed. I am a little confused with all the english and abbreviations on this journey. Because some people would say they got sign in failed and on the AVR it is still saying case under review and it would take 6-8weeks.

Hey :)

It's about the online payment portal where you pay your AOS and IV bills (I'm assuming that you did pay them online ;) ). NVC doesn't have a website where you can check ur case status (like USCIS). So, when you get SIGN IN FAIL on the payment portal - that usually means your case is complete but most of the times still needs to go tru final review - so it's never a guarantee that you got CC but most of the time it's a sign that you're pretty much out of the NVC.

03-03-14 -> USCIS received. (Priority Date)
03-09-14 -> NOA1 received.
06-04-14 -> NOA2 received. Approved.
06-18-14 -> NVC Received case.
07-03-14 -> NVC Assigned Case#(Got Case# & IIN Over the Phone).
07-22-14 -> DS-261 Completed.
07-25-14 -> AOS fee Payment.
07-29-14 -> AOS fee shows PAID.
07-30-14 -> AOS Package Sent.
07-31-14 -> AOS Package delivered.
09-15-14 -> IV fee Payment.

09-17-14 -> IV fee Shows PAID.

09-18-14 -> IV Package Sent.
09-20-14 -> IV Package Delivered.

10-20-14 -> Case Complete.

thats just a prety smooth ending process for you.you can give nvc a call by wednesday to confirm that for formality reason and yu will be told.and hope to get your interview date soon soon soon cos they schedule interview for second week of every new month.good luck
