The I-130 was approved (Aug. 16th) but our I-129f is not! Does anyone know what we can expect as far as a timeline to the consulate here in Costa Rica recieving our package, either one, the I-130 or I-129f. I spoke with the emabssy here and they said once they recieve the package and we have all the requested docs then the process to the interview and issueing of the visa is quick, about 2 weeks, but I have no clue how long it takes for the package to get from the NVC to the consulate here. Also since the I-130 is approved will it get here befor the I-129f???

Anyway, just found this website tonight and have found all of it very helpful along with everyone's posts and comments. Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have. Also, If anyone has been through this process with the Costa Rican Consulate, any info would be helpful.

Thanks, Chris and Mariana :D

It will take the NVC about 1-2 months to get all the next forms to you and back to them again, then the case goes to the embassy.

Check out the information on the I-130 under guides at the top of the home page on this web site for detailed information and a timline at NVC.
