Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

I have lived in FL all my life.. east coast, west coast at the moment, as well as Orlando area not long ago.. The economy blows right now... our county has about 12% unemployment.. There is alot to do in O-town as well as a great deal of crime. I would not move there unless there was employment already setup..

I personally wouldn't want to live in Orlando itself, the crime rate is high, there are some nice areas surrounding the city and of course areas to avoid, do plenty of research. The vacationing experience is very different from the living experience. Although, I must say, it is a very beautiful area, I lived about an hour 20 away from Orlando on the coast but visited family often in the city. I can't say I was sorry to leave though.

Good luck in your decision makings! :)

Hi Trina,

I live about an hour away from Orlando on the east coast. It's true that employment is in a recession, but that is everywhere right now. I know that my husband was wanting to move closer to the city only because of it being more busier there. (our town closes down at nightfall!)

It would be definitely wise to make sure you have a job lined up before you move down here. Depends on what line of work that you do. I moved down from Atlanta to Melbourne and the hospital I work at actually paid my moving expenses. Start looking around for job availabilities in Orlando. I know quite a few people who commute to Orlando from where we live.

There are plenty of nice places to live in Orlando, in fact they are creating new neighborhoods all over the place.

Good luck with your decision!

Im no help with Florida, but I think Houston is a great place to move to. The economy here has been so far so good for us in Texas. Houston area is full of middle eastern people/couples. Grocery stores and middle eastern restaurants there too. Several VJ people live around the Houston area. Us, Amal and her hubby, Sandra and Maged up north of us, and a couple others around FB and VJ. We are about 1 hour or so from Galveston to go fishing, swimming or great seafood markets. Plenty of things to do and we love it here. Thats my 2 cents worth sorry its not about Florida.

Orlando is a service economy. What type of jobs would you like to find? Are you looking to build careers or find a place to just work and play? What types of things do you enjoy to do in your off time.

Area residents don't spend a lot of time on I Drive or in the parks. So be sure that you understand what local life is about. Orlando is really a small town with a giant industry. You feel the effects of economic swings pretty quickly.

You will find that Orlando and NC aren't all that different in many ways. I've lived in both and enjoyed both.

I agree with the above posters. If you can find work before you move then great. I wouldn't move and then expect to easily find work. We live about 90 mins from Orlando, and have looked into moving to that area. We decided against it. Do your research on the surrounding towns. We did find some nicer areas close to Orlando. Also, if you have children, be sure to check on the schools in each neighborhood. I moved to Florida about 4 years ago, and it wasn't easy to find work. The pay was much lower than what I was used to up north, but I didn't find that the cost of living was any less. I do love the hot weather though, and the beaches are beautiful. Also, it's nice being close to Disney World  Good luck with your decision!

First of all, Welcome back from your trip, hope you had lots of fun!

I'm about to move to Melbourne, Florida, about 45 mins away from Orlando, my fiancé loves it, it is very hot and humid and rains a lot though, more humid than Alexandria, Egypt.

And I know that the job hunt there is really hard, it took my fiancé month and month to find a job when he was moving down from Alabama, he had to settle for a lower paying job in Florida, but the cost of living and housing prices went down so that's a good thing.

However, everyone who has been in FL loved it and is charmed by the place.

Do what the other members said, look for jobs online and start applying, you might want to write in your application that you live in Florida otherwise they could filter your application (happened with my fiancé)

I'll ask him to send you and explain to you as he recently moved to FL 4 months ago.

Best of luck!

Love you hun =).

But, as my better half said, I live about 45 minutes to an hour away in Melbourne, FL. It's a very nice town. I would highly recommend getting a job down here first, especially since the space shuttle layoffs work can be hard to find depending upon your career. I would also highly recommend not staying in Orlando itself but in one of the suburbs. Crime is high in Orlando or at least seems high from the news channels.

I applied for literally a hundred jobs down here in the Orlando region and it wasn't until I changed my address to my parents (they live in Cocoa, FL about 30 mins to the east of Orlando) that I got any interviews.

I just got back from my lunch break watching a pack of 10-12 dolphins in the Indian River; nothing beats that =). Let me know if you have any questions, be happy to help.
