Is it okay to keep working for my current company after I enter the US with my K1 visa? My company has allowed me to keep working remotely from my fiance's home. My current office is located in Toronto, but they do have an office in Pittsburgh. I would be moving to Virginia. Is it okay to work like this? or is it not permitted? I would still be getting paid in Canadian funds, to a Canadian bank account, and paying Canadian taxes. This situation would only last a couple months after which it would end.

People have asked this before and been told it's fine as long as it's Canadian money and a Canadian company. If it's an american company then no, you can't.
