Hello everybody!

I would like to know if there is any one here who can help me about knowing the step I should follow to make an aplication for the US and for what type of visa should I make it.

I am come from Haiti but I am supported by a christian mission organisation for more than 3 years since I was in classic school,

and now I am studying in Dominican Republic ing. sistem, I already in my third semester the organisation still support me for my studies, but there is a friend of mine she is a US Citizen and also she is a Dr. she would like to make me come to spend my next vacation on December with her in the States but she really does not know how to make kind of aplication because she never did that before and I either don't know how could I start the process she is ready to do every thing the process would required.

also I like to know if I can apply for the visa in the country where I am studying?

I would like to go to spend my vacation in the States and get back as soon as my University is restart.

do I have some chance to get a visa?

thank you very much!

You would need to apply for a tourist visa yourself, your mission or friend in the US cannot help, though some people say a letter of invitation from the US friend, perhaps stating they will pay for any expenses while you are over there, can help a little bit. You will need to prove that you can fund your travel, and that you have strong ties to your home country and/ or the country you live in and will return. So show them proof of enrollment in college, letter from employer, lease to a home, proof you have close family you want to return to etc.

You can apply to the embassy where you live, that is not a problem, but honestly, from your country, it is difficult to get a tourist visa, but not impossible.

Make a try. Because all tourist visa are depend on luck. If u dont know the process how to start then you can search here or in other websites. Or you can keep any agent in ur area who can do all the process of form fillings and guidelines.

Good luck
