my wifes cr1 is in process. we just recently submitted AOS papers and DS3032 form.

we got married in oct 2009, my question is, my wife passport is issued in march 2010. her passport status states unmarried on the passport. reason was since i came back to us, i wasnt physically there for the issue of the id card, which is required to make the passport. so they dont allow the married status without the husband, and my id card.

would this be a problem on port of entry when she arrives to us since her passport states single? or they dont care?

no, it won't be a problem

However, the visa will be issued in the name in the passport, and the green card will be issued with the name in the visa. If your wife intends to take your name, I suggest changing the name in the passport soon-ish. If she decides to change her name in the US you'll neec to complete form I-90 and pay fees to the tune of $370

Good luck

you can change up the name with the DS-230.

Is the name correct, and the only problem that it gives the wrong title? If it is Ms instead of Mrs then surely there is no problem at all, as Ms doesn't mean anything particular.
