Hello,

I was wondering if someone had an idea whats going on with CSC in getting their paper work out. I know things slow down but I am looking and in August over 30 people answers on their 129F _getting a K1 visa) for their NOA2, but in September only 6 people have gotten an answer back. Also 35 more new applicants applied in September. (I got ours started in August) What happend to the CSC did a lot of workers get laid off with the economy finally or soemthing? It's almost like the process has come to a halt and I want to know why please if you have information (which I know lots of people are only guessing) Anyway news good or bad please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Rumour has it they are backlogged processing work visas and are dedicating their manpower on that. Who knows if it's true. Check out the K1 Progess Reports forum, all of us are complaining about it over there. :)

They just looked at mine I filed in February, The older one's should be cleared out before new one's are approved, but that is just my opinion! JMHO

A friend of mine opined that the Fall season must be a very busy time for the USCIS since so many people must have met their loved one during a romantic Summer vacation... Maybe he is right!

Go Cali, go cali, GO CALI!!!

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

Hey Phil, congrats on your journey and it's good to see another member from St. Louis. Regarding your petition, I feel for you, but keep in mind that petitions have been flying through this past year compared to recent years. You are less than two months from filing, so you are well within the normal time frame. The fluctuations in processing are normal and it looks like you are going to be part of this cycles peak. Take a deep breath and don't worry...before you know it you will be worrying about interview prep, then plane tickets, then marriage. This is a great forum to ask questions, so welcome.

I'm new in the waiting game and I really hope it won't take that long from now on... but I know my friend Chazzie here, a very patient person! And all of you who sent the petition in May, June, July... It's like they're sleeping, I've been watching some of you who got NOA1 in June, July... It's insane. :|

But eventually... something has to happened. They cashed our checks. :P

Let's just pray a miracle will come our way!

Good information to know!

Speaking of CSC, I am just writing my Fiance Letter of intent to marry and I am supposed to include the CSC address. Can I find it anywhere? Nope...

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks...
