Congratulations to all who received their cards and got approved. I'm a November filer but I wanted to say that in DC, you can take your NOA and SSN to any DMV and they will either give you a new drivers license or give you a learner's permit, which was the case with my husband

We received her EAD today (January 18th).

We also found out, unfortunately, that the AP paperwork was approved but never arrived in the mail. We were told that we would have to refile it again. However, USCIS told us that we won't have to pay a fee for a new AP - we could just include a copy of the NOA for the previous AP instead of a new payment.

Our I-485 case was transferred to the CSC on December 14th, so we're waiting to hear what happens next.

Congrats on your EAD Document arriving and sorry about your AP, guess that means with the AP you have to submit everything again including new passport photo's ? It's amazing when a person first submits all the paperwork that the I-797's can make it to the house, but after that things seem to get lost in the mail. Did they verify your address ?

January 20th finally arrived, all of our documents have been gathered, checked and rechecked. We arrived 45 minutes perfore our interview and went through the metal detectors without issue. We were then informed to go to the 3rd floor and sit in the waiting room. Finially our name was called and we went with a nice young lady into the interview room and swore to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth (or something like that).

She Asked Floriann a series of simple questions and a few things about our relationship. The only question I got was what is her fathers name...

Once again we had every document imaginable with us but she never asked to look at anything . She asked if we had any other questions and I was feeling so bad that Floriann worked so hard to get everything ready that I insisted that she at least look at our photos.

She informed us that she would contact us within the week if she needed any more information otherwise we would be approved within 2 months. We just got home and Floriann looked at the USCIS website and it already shows that WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!

WOOHOO!!!!

have you checked the USCIS website?? that is where it showed that we were approved and they are producing her card.

And...finally I can concentrate on job hunting;-))

Oh, my EAD, AP & 1-94 she returned to us after the interviewed..Mostly I read here in Vj they will took these card and documents..oh well I love to keep them as a remembrance though ;-))..I also never got any stamp after the interview.. ( I guess this is normal)..

Thanks goodness!! we finished this stage and it's time to have life after all the waiting time...Next Stop..It's nice to be back again in my professional career that i can stimulate my brain and start to make a living that I used to be..and it always good to have a career that bring back the confidence on me as a working girl again:-))

Hey everybody! My husband got his green card in the mail yesterday. It feels so nice! It took 10 days from our approval date and one week from the "card production ordered" notice on the USCIS website to arrive here. I'm still rooting for all the wonderful October filers to have happy endings soon
