Good for you got touches after your biometric..What does it says in your touches? I just curious to know what update does it says after the biometric..

Sadly, no update online or no touches in our case online..It still stated the same that on Oct 25 they sent Hard copies of BOA and they will sent us the biometric schedule ( which is done dated 19. Nov.2010)...thats all we got...and AOS still in acceptance stage and both our EAD and AP still in initial stage...

Do I start calling USCIS on this matter???

Goodluck!

We just got a change the "last updated" date for AOS and EAD. AOS, EAD, and AP were all in initial review before the touches and all three of them still show initial review, so no change there.

Personally, I don't think touches are a big deal. Sometimes they don't happen, but it doesn't mean the usual processing isn't going on with your case. If it makes you feel better, though, you don't have anything to lose by calling USCIS, so you might as well do so. The question is whether they can provide you with any useful information ... maybe not

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Thank you, VisaJourney!!!!!

I filed my AOS and EAD on 10/18, got NOA1 on 11/24 and Biometrics done on 11/10/2010. I did not get any updated on the USCIS website nor any mail besides the NOA1 and Bio appointment. No EAD yet or approval of I130 or I485 applications.

But today, I got an interview letter for Jan 6, 2011. Is this a good sign? Just nervous a little since I did not get any updates not even a single RFE.

Also, how come the NOA2 says initial interview? Is there another interview after this? Thanks anyone. A little scared and excited at the same time...

Just curious to know, Did you got touches after your biometric schedule?

Or just got the a letter from USCIS regarding your interview appointment for Dec 27?

No touches for us after my biometric schedule..and looks like for October Filer I was the only one no touches...so kinda worried though:=((

We had a touch on the day of the biometrics appointment and then again on the following Monday.

I'm guessing a touch is the result of a bar code swipe of the file, which the case workers are probably instructed to do every time they work on a file. I could see a busy case worker forgetting to scan absolutely everything.

11/10/09 - K1 NOA1 date
4/22/10 - NOA2 mailed
7/21/10 - interview
8/27/10 - arrival in US
9/4/10 - wedding
10/2/10 - sent off AoS pack
12/27/10 - GC interview (approved)
10/09/12 - mailed application I-751
10/11/12 - NOA for I-175

4/23/13 - I-175 approved
