Hi,

I just saw a post of someone telling that their K-1 visa has been at the NVC for almost a year!

So ... What kind of actions does the NVC perform on the K-1 cases?

K1 Visas do not sit at the NVC for a year. K1's are simply sent to the NVC for forwarding on to the consulate. They do nothing with them.

I just read the post about a K1 being there a year as well. I wonder what happened.

A security check is also done at NVC level. Security name checks are done at Service Center, NVC and Embassy.
