Hey everybody,

so, today I got my travel authorization approved, but it says I will be getting the document within 30 days from today. I need to travel next week!!!!

Do you think I can leave the country with the NOA saying that it's been approved, and wait abroad until I get the legal document (like having it sent to me via UPS or something), and then come back to the States?

I mean, the permit has been approved, I just dont have it in paper right now, but I really need to leave next week!!!!!

this will be very helpful

Thanks!

hey !

get an infopass appointment,

when you walk into the local USCIS office,

take that approval notice, and yer tickets, ask for Emergency AP.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

yeah, getting an InfoPass, but we already got the approval, i mean, will it be worth it to go and ask for the document even though we have it approved? Cause I called migration and told me to wait for the document to be sent!!!!

Do you know if they give it to me right there? Or I'll have to wait some days?

it's your travel dates, your travel plan.

seemingly you have no interest in waiting, you don't' want to miss your dates for travel -

so

try what I've suggested, see how it works out.

It's YOUR travel plan, so it's YOUR emergency.

If you do not have that AP document IN YOUR HAND when you attempt to reenter the US, your life will become FAR more interesting than you would like it to be.

You should NOT leave the country without it, unless you know with COMPLETE METAPHYSICAL CERTITUDE that there will be some (incredibly, ultimately reliable, completely and utterly guaranteed and foolproof) way to get it to you while you are outside the country.

If that is the case, you should be ok. As long the date you left the US is after the document was approved, and you WILL have it when you reenter the US, you can leave. No one will ask to see your AP document on the way out.

Little too risky for me, but YMMV.
