What should happen at this point is that they be assessed a TAX of $500,000 per day that they employed an illegal alien. Their home and prpoerty should be SEIZED and sold at auction. IF this was done, every other illegal alien would be out of work tomorrow and walking home the next day and NONE would walk back.

I don't doubt some are working cheaper than citizens but this idea they are making "slave wages" is often claimed with no evidence of it that I have seen.

That remains to be seen. Evidence suggests that Whitman and her husband suspected she was not here legally for a long time. The housekeeper worked for her for 9 years and it wasn't until this summer after Whitman began her campaign for governor that suddenly she found out. That doesn't look too good for Whitman.

Even if you suspect your housekeeper of being in the country illegally, what do you do? Do you verbally ask? Do you demand her immigration papers? I thought these were the types of things libs were furious over in Arizona....

Employers have the right to know. They have the right to act on reasonable suspicion. She could have simply asked her housekeeper, but apparently it wasn't important enough to Meg Whitman until she threw herself into the political arena where things like this are closely scrutinized. Of course, she didn't even bother to vote prior to her sudden interest in the governor's office. This is just another example of her character.

Actually the evidence suggests otherwise so far. The only one that is saying she knew is the criminal illegal alien. No one finds it strange that she goes now to an obvious Socialist attorney and seeks fame? What could be her reasoning to try and defame her former employer that fired her when she went and told her that she was an illegal?
