Anyways there is some point i don't understand well, so i will need someone to clarify this to me because am so confused and stressed to be honest ..the point is

Relatives in the U.S,:

Provide the names, addresses and phone numbers of all relatives living in the U.S, Also include how each

person is related to the petitioner (including in-laws).

The question is : Whom relative are they referring to ? Petitioner or Beneficiary ?

Thanks in advance

Hossam,

Petitioner's. But if there are NO relatives, how can you include them? Then, explain there are no relatives here.

You guys are married, so her relatives are your relatives. It says specifically in-laws, so I am guessing they mean all relatives for the two of you. I wouldn't worry about WHY they are asking it (although I guess it's due to people trying to use immigration to relocate entire families).

If your wife has too many relatives (and isn't in contact with them), what about focusing on immediate family... parents, siblings, grandparents, and maybe even aunts and uncles. For cousins, I would state which aunts/uncles have children and leave it at that. I will defer to more experiences people as to whether that may be a good idea. Good luck.

What USCIS worries is bona fide marriage. So, it will be helpful if couple of your relatives write letters and include them as well.

Sam

Hossam,

If you don't have relatives, please state so in the letter. RFE is to the petitioner (Not to the beneficiary). So, the petitioner can list the details of her relatives in the response to the RFE alongwith all other RFE responses.

Everyone is making sense today...am being serious ...but the solution is obviously known ..will say i don't have blood relatives in the US and will say that my wife's relatives are mine IN-LAW as they asked and specified .

Thanks for the advice.

Sam - make note of the 'voice' and 'intended reader' of the RFE, also.

The RFE is addressed to the Petitioner, not you -

so the 'intended reader' becomes the 'intended respondent'

and

the 'voice ' in which to reply,

is that of the Petitioner, not you.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
