Awesome ! Thanks. Looks very detailed and nice. Did you receive the AOS and DS3032 emails from NVC ? If you did, could you please update the timeline with that info. There are a bunch of us waiting for the emails and/or the IV invoice to be ready.

Thanks

I never received any emails from NVC. The only one I received was them telling me my DS3032 has been accepted. They never emailed me telling me to send them the DS3032. Needless to say, I didn't get any DS3032 kit.

Lol. You guys should know by now that you never want to wait on NVC. If I had waited on their email. I would've been still waiting now. Instead, I'm just waiting for my wife to send me the original marriage and birth certificate. I should get it by Tuesday next week. I asked my wife to FedEX these this Saturday.

Jeez...every time I come to this thread, it has jumped 2 or 3 pages!!!! Might be because of the influx of people plus the chatty Marchers who are left here :)

Update: I received my husband's civil doc today. No I am just working on translating them (woo...not) and then when I get home I will work some more on that and assembling the package so that it will be all ready to go on Monday. The AVR still hasn't input my AOS package. *Sigh* BUT....that means 20 mocha points for Milena. Heck Milena, I'll give you 50 mocha points. So get some rest and fun shoved in this weekend before next week comes and you get that loverly visa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Relax Teya :), you guys have had your days with zillions of postings and it is time for the newcomers to have their say at it. As long as people get come clarity and are re-assured about the process, the thread moving faster than a bullet is a non-issue :)

My case is practically filed on May. So that makes me a Mayer. But I like to pretend that I'm Marcher. I called NVC again now. Wow! Got in with the first try. Anyways, I just wanted to see what the AVRS says. It says DS3032 has been accepted in addition to the NVC case number. Good. Now I can finally give a funeral to the DS3032 ghost. Good riddance.

I feel like I should be doing something. But there is nothing to do now. :( All my gooses are in a row already. I can't do anything until I get some docs from wife. -sigh- Oh well. I guess I'll practice fill the DS230 again. Grr.

Good for you, Indi and Congrats on getting your gooses in line :)

Instead of focussing on self-help, why don't you try and help people on this forum that way earning some good karma like Loto :)

May be that will make the courier from your wife come faster :) I don't about you, but am a firm believer in Karma.

True. I'll try as much as I can. Hence is why I posted my timeline just as soon as you asked. :) But a part of me is afraid to render advice because what if someone acts out on them and something goes complete batsh**-awry. Then I'd feel bad. I guess everyone should take all the advice on VJ and still use their intellect before acting on them.

Cool. Yea..the advice part holds true for Loto too. He just got his knowledge by reading a lot, he isn't a lawyer or been trained in this process. It is common sense plus research n reading that helps you give constructive suggestions or re-assure people who are frustrated.

That disclaimer part applies for anyone who helps. So just do what you think is right and leave the rest to God and the individual taking ur advice :)

I have a new game that I'm going to play from now on. DS230 says it will take one hour to fill out. I've filled it out so many times that it takes me just a few minutes. From now on, I'm going to try to beat my record. Current record: 6 minutes and 37 seconds. I was distracted a few times.

If nothing else, I now have my father-in-law and mother-in-law's birth date memorised. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Keekeekee!

Ah..ok. Then definitely there is no method to this madness. It defeats koaxaca1's theory that the emails need to be sent out for the IV invoice to show up.

Thanks

My DS3032 confirmation email came 1 week after I paid my IV bill. So don't wait for the email confirmation and keep checking online portal. It took 9 days for my DS-3032 to be accepted and IV bill to become available. Hope this helps..
