Ater 6 months of waiting every other day feels like another year.

I got NOA 2 on 10/15/10 and NVC received docs on 10/22/10. I called them that day and they gave me NVC # and IIN number (!)

My wife sent the choice of agent e-mail on 10/24/10.

So what do I need to do now? I check sign-in page daily and this is 5 days as I see "NOT INVOICED". How long is it gonna take to get the invoice? I call them and was told there is no record of the choice of agent and I have to wait 2-4 weeks for the next step....

AOS not invoiced means you need some more wait since it is relatively new NVC case.

IV not invoiced means, DS-3032 is not accepted. So you need to send another one. Dig this thread to few pages backwards for some tips.

Oh, BTW, I called USEM Manila and asked for an earlier interview, and the representative told me he was willing to give me a November interview (there are still spots for interview for Nov 2-22nd), only problem is they don't have the case files yet so they can't do anything at this time. I called NVC tonight (got through after 97x redial, and on hold for 52minutes, honeslty, it's getting harder and harder to talk to a human!), and spoke to a supervisor again, she asked me the name of the supervisor I talked to and told me to call USEM Manila, because, she said, NVC does the scheduling. She said, the embassy can't schedule the interview because they don't have the files (makes sense). Oh well, it was worth a try.

@Milena, still "wishful thinking"! :lol:

Yes, it is OK to pay, if it's available to be paid on the online payment portal.

(I've said this to others, over the months, as well, now say it to you)

Expect NOTHING from NVC via email about paying the IV fees - the barcoded sheet that the USCitizen Petitioner needs will be available a few days after paying, from the portal, on the portal, must print it from the portal.

I got my NVC case Number today called the AVR early this morning and latter in the day my wife managed to get the IIN number thru the operator. I logged in but i get this message :

"Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error. "

Any thoughts on this?.

I also had my wife (beneficiary) the email request for the Choice of Agent (COA) she still had not got a email response back.

How do i ad a time line in my signature window,?

kvp

1. The fee bill ain't ready to be paid UNTIL NVC has sent out the AOS fee bill via email. It doesn't matter what you do, how you do it - IF no AOS FEE BILL in yer EMAIL? NVC isn't ready to 'start processing on yer casefile'. and that's it. What you see is the result of you attempting to 'jump the gun' and NVC, alas, is NOT ready for yer casefile yet. If you call back to NVC, ask the human to send you the AOS FEE BILL via email.

2. Don't expect any email response back on the DS-3032 - instead - WHEN / IF you see the IV fee bill available on the online payment portal - then that's the FIRST indicator that the DS-3032 has been added to the casefile.

3. I've written a mini-how-to - for doing stuff @ NVC , based on payment portal status - have a read? --> http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

FWIW, jumping the gun is bad - YOU REALLY MUST WAIT until that first AOS fee bill email.

Bad, bad and bad...

Do you all think it was normal they accepted my payment in less than 24 hours? I hope something didn't go wrong.

Yup - is normal - actually - this is how it's supposed to work.

Many times it doesn't work that way, but

Sorry, it's a TIMETICK that 'holds all' at NVC -

without that timetick, the case will never move forward.

Good Luck !

I got that I should be fine if I pay the bill. Thanks for reply.

I don't agree that they won't send the IV fee bill........they did in my sister-in-law's case. It's just that today the NVC AVR says: DS-3032 has been accepted, and also IV bill is ready to pay on NVC payment website. But I haven't yet received the IV bill via email, and NVC operator suggests not to do any action until I receive the fee bill. That's why I am just confused. But I got the point cleared out of my mind.....thanks :)

FYI,

Sis-in-law's IV fee bill

U.S. Department of State

National Visa Center

Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee Bill Invoice

_____________________________________________________________________

June 24, 2010

$400.00

__________________________________________________________

DO NOT SEND FEE PAYMENTS TO THE NVC NEW HAMPSHIRE FACILITY.

THIS WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF THE VISA.

1. Fee payments to the National Visa Center (NVC) are made through the Consular Electronic Application

Center's Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center. Go to www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click the "Fee

Collection" link, then the "Online Payment" link.

2. The online payment process requires that you have available:

- The checking account number of the account used for payment

- The routing number of the bank where the account is maintained

(For those unfamiliar with check numbering, the Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center displays

instructions for how to locate the account and routing numbers on your checks.)

3. After gathering your account number and bank routing number, log into the Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment

Center. You will need the NVC case number and the Invoice Identification Number printed above.

4. After you have logged in, step-by-step instructions will be displayed to guide you through the payment

process.

5. Retain a copy of this invoice for your records.

Payers who are unable to use the online payment method must follow alternative payment instructions. Go to

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click the "Fee Collection" link, then the "Alternative Payment Method"

link, and then follow the instructions displayed. When paying by cashier's check or money order, you must

enclose this original invoice with the payment.

Please Note: Processing fees are non-refundable.

Looks like my IV fee will be PAID today. But sadly, I won't be able to ship out the IV package until next week. Wife is going to send me stuff using FedEX. But Friday in Bangladesh is a weekend. It's already Friday there. And Saturday is a weekend too. So she won't be able to send it until Sunday. I'd get it Wednesday. Then ship it out Thursday. Oh well. Hopefully, AOS package will be done at NVC by then.

I waited 7 months. I can wait another week. By the way, do you guys think it's possible for my wife to get an interview in December?
