Thanks, I wish no RFEs as well. The only part we are concerned about is my father`s name on the DS-260 vs. my birth certificate. My certified copy of my BC is incorrect, actually there are mistakes all over it...my father`s name, the street I was born on is spelled wrong, and they just put lines through things when they made mistakes. The whole thing is atrocious, but its been that way since 1981. My father`s middle name is Arthur, the BC says Aurtur (thats not even a name!) So I put my father`s REAL middle name, because I am signing the paperwork as to all the infomration is true...if I put the one that is on my BC, I`m technically lying.

Not sure if its going to be a problem or not, fingers crossed it isn`t.

Thanks indigo :-) Hope to be able to send it soon here. Just had my husband email a scanned & signed 3032 to supervisor sue to hopefully speed the IV bill generation up. Cant wait til all this is over. I feel like that guy on Scanners....tick...tick...BOOM!!!

In response to my 1st email to 'supervisor sue,' I got some weird email, and NO an acceptance:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition.

According to our records, your Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment was made on-line through the Department of State's website: www.ImmigrantVisas.State.Gov, Fee Collection. You must now download and complete the appropriate Affidavit of Support form and submit it to the NVC in order to complete your immigrant visa processing.

Arrrrgh!!!! What is happening???????

Why is it that after the IIN, you have to wait for 2 to 3 days to pay the bill ? I just got my IIN number this morning from an NVC operator

and I logged in and was able to see the invoice to be paid.

I was told by the operator that I need to wait for the bill to be generated and to wait to pay the bill, but from your earlier thread you mentioned that you didn't wait for the email to pay the bill. what is it that you waited for for 2 to 3 days after the IIN ?

Thanks. I provided our email addresses. Just to confirm, we email the signed 3032 to NVCInquiry@state.gov? Im nervous about making a barcode.... is it necessary or does it work if we just write the NVC case number and IIN on the form?

Are you saying that the email from them I quoted constitutes an acceptance of the choice of agent? Is that the typical reply that is sent to choice of agent submission?

That email landed in my wife's inbox about 50 minutes ago...still 'Not Invoiced' on the portal....

I was nervous about the barcode and I didn't include it. Instead I typed "NVC CASE # DHK-YYYY-DDD-SSS." Twas fine and DS3032 was accepted.

I didn't even include the IIN number on the DS3023 email or on DS3032 pdf. What's the point, really? IIN is only for paying the bill.

svenkatc, we are in the same boat. I logged on and could see the AOS, but it shows as "Not Invoiced." Has yours already "invoiced"? If it is "Invoiced" then you can pay the bill because it has been generated?

I thought you mentioned that was the reply to your first DS-3032 email to Sue.

If it was not the reply to your DS-3032 email, it is different thing.

Watch out the response to your DS-3032 email or payment portal.

The 2-3 days wait is only applicable if you have IIN and you cannot pay your AOS bill. I got my IIN on day 1 but I had to wait 2 days before I could select the invoice on the payment portal to pay for it. I got my IIN using a trick. So I got it much earlier than I should have gotten it. That's why I had to wait. But since you got your IIN and you are able to pay your invoice, go ahead an do it. Don't mind what the NVC operator said. Pay it. When it's paid, print the cover-sheet and ship out the AOS package.

I hope you are working on DS3032 while the above is going on. Email the DS3032 in email format and include the filled out PDF, also. So by the time one things is done, you'll be ready for the next thing: DS230. Good luck.

Make sure to use Internet Explorer when paying the invoice. The site doesn't work on other browers very well.

She should sign the form. Because she's chosing the agent. And she should email it. If you are asking me if after she signs it, could you email it on her behalf, I'm going to say no comment. That's something you are going to have to decide on your own.

haha..Thanks Loto ! I will go ahead and pay the bill tonight and will send the DS3032 email tomorrow. Will wait for a couple of days to see if the IV fee gets invoiced and resort to the the Sue route if it doesn't.

Like someone pointed out earlier, you have accumulated a lot of good karma by helping people here and that will surely make things go faster for you.
